State police at the Bethlehem barracks said the Troop M fire marshal is investigating the cause of a residential fire that happened on Sunday in Lynn Township. Police said the blaze occurred at 7:30 a.m. at 8307 Creamery Road in the township, resulting in extensive fire damage to the house. No one was at home at the time of the blaze, and five pets inside the home were rescued by fire company personnel, police said.

Several fire companies from throughout Lehigh and Berks counties assisted the New Tripoli and Lynnport fire companied in extinguishing the fire. The fire marshal is requesting anyone with information about the fire to call 610-861-2026 (reference incident number PA23-217709).
