State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating the theft of two catalytic converters from vehicles in Towamensing Township.

Police said the converters were stolen off 2000 GMC vehicles belonging to Gulf States Manufacturing Inc. that were parked on Wintergreen Road in the township.

The thefts were reported at 2:56 p.m. Feb. 11.
