A man has been charged with stealing a vehicle from a property in Franklin Township.

Township police said that on Jan. 19, a township resident reported his motor vehicle being removed from his property.

Matthew Beers, 48, formerly of Franklin Township, was known to the victim.

The vehicle was recovered at a Northampton County location.

Beers has been charged with theft of movable property; receiving stolen property; unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked - DUI.

An active felony arrest warrant has been issued for Beers.
