Two people suffered minor injuries in a crash at 6:07 p.m. Feb. 8 on Route 209 in Polk Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks identified them as Janeann C. Beers, 53, and William P. Wolf Sr., 57, both of Kunkletown. Police said they did not require medical transports.

The incident happened in front of the West End Car Wash when Beers, driving a 2017 Cadillac, attempted to turn left onto the business lot and failed to yield to oncoming traffic, striking a 1997 Jeep Cherokee operated by Wolf.

The two vehicles were towed from the scene. Beers was cited for the crash.
