NL’s Kirk headed to King’s College

Northern Lehigh’s Caitlin Kirk is set to continue her academic and athletic career at King’s College, where she will play soccer.

Kirk played on the Bulldogs’ varsity squad for four seasons as a striker, on defense, at midfield and at defensive midfield positions.

This past season, Kirk recorded 11 goals and six assists and finished her career with 21 goals and 16 assists. She is sixth all-time for girls in overall scoring, tied for fifth in career goals and fifth all time in assists.

She was an all-star and the team’s all-state nominee.

In addition to soccer, Kirk also participates in track and field, competing in the discus, javelin and shot put.

The daughter of Jessica and Robert Kirk, Caitlin will study chemical engineering at King’s.
