State police at Lehighton

State police at Lehighton reported on the following incidents:

• A traffic stop made at 2:38 a.m. Jan. 29 at the intersection of Hemlock Street and Dairy Road in Lower Towamensing Township resulted in a 26-year-old Palmerton man being charged.

Police said after they stopped the 1999 Subaru Outback they found the man to be under the influence of and in possession of a controlled substance.

• A father and his adult daughter who were involved in an argument that turned physical were cited by state polices.

Police said they were called to a property on Jeans Drive, Penn Forest Township, where they learned the father and daughter shoved each other.

• A 39-year-old Kunkletown woman is facing charges of defiant trespass after police were summoned to an incident in Polk Township 6:57 p.m. Jan. 22.

Police said it happened at Sunny’s Express Mart, Interchange Road, Kresgeville.

• Lianexis Moreno Reyes, 18, of Kunkletown, was cited for a dog law violation after an incident at midnight Jan. 31 at 126 Little Mauch Chunk Circle in Eldred Township.

Police said the victim is Christopher Joseph, 44, of Kunkletown.

Reyes was charged after failing to keep a dog confined to its property, police said.
