The Pennsylvania State Police Troop N Stroudsburg barracks is seeking the public’s assistance in an unsolved homicide investigation, offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
The victim, a 50-year-old Carlos Alamo Jr., was discovered on Nov. 12, 2005, at his residence, Room #34, Wine Press Inn Apartments, Bartonsville, just off Route 611 in Pocono Township, Monroe County.
Alamo was last known to be alive at 11 p.m. Nov. 10, 2005.
An autopsy revealed that Alamo died of a gunshot wound and the manner of death was homicide.
Many people knew him by the nickname “Old School.”
