A Monroe County woman has been charged with scattering rubbish.

State police at Fern Ridge said Mariah Irizarry, 33, of Tobyhanna, was charged with dumping various items into the Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Company’s dumpster without permission. Items included mail, shredded paper, shoes/clothing, tackle box, pots, pans, cups, umbrella, plastic baskets and other household garbage.

Charges were filed.
