The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of Feb. 6-10 is:
Monday: BBQ Meatball, Mashed Potatoes, Carrots, Pudding or Deli Sandwich
Tuesday: Kielbasa and Sauerkraut, Peas, Peach Applesauce or Tuna Sandwich
Wednesday: Orange Chicken, Brown Rice, Asian Vegetables, Mandarin Oranges or BBQ Chicken Salad
Thursday: Cheese Ravioli, Spinach Salad, Orange or Ham and Cheese Sandwich or Ham and Cheese Sandwich
Friday: Salisbury steak, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Pudding or Chicken, Ham and Cheese Sandwich
The center has announced upcoming events until Feb. 17: Saran Wrap Ball Game on Feb. 6 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Feb. 7 at 10:45 a.m.; Po-Keeno on Feb. 8 at 11 a.m.; Sunshine Meeting on Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. followed by Drumming Exercise at 11 a.m.; Balloon Tennis on Feb. 10 at 11 a.m.
Game Day on Feb. 13 at 11 a.m.; Valentine’s Day Party on Feb. 14 at 10:30 a.m.; Speaker and Activity by Lehigh Valley Therapy Inc. at 11 a.m.; Birthday Bingo on Feb. 16 at 10:45 a.m.; Po-Keeno on Feb. 17 at 11 a.m.
Chair exercises on Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 10 a.m. Cards, pool, games, available daily. New members always welcome.

Chili cook-off
Nesquehoning VFW Post 8008 will hold its first chili cook-off from 2-4 p.m. on Feb. 18.
Participants who would like to make a crockpot of chili to enter can register for the event at johnnaweaver0122@gmail.com. Entry fee is $10 and must be paid by Feb. 17.
On the day of the event, people can pay $5 at the door to try all chili.
