After being held to just one point over the first two quarters, Chernega tallies 18 in the second half to help his team produce the victory. The Maroons, coached by George Roscoe, also receive 10 points from Johnny Feddock while Clarence Pecha chips in with eight. For the Tigers, George Welsh finishes with 18 points and Steve Bitsko adds 10.
