A Monroe County man is dead following a fire Saturday night in Coolbaugh Township.

County Coroner Tom Yanac confirmed that a 47-year-old man from Tobyhanna died.

Yanac, who didn’t release the man’s name, said it’s unknown if the man died as a result of the fire.

He said the incident broke out at after 11 p.m. at a home on Wilson Court in Tobyhanna.
