Northern Lehigh School District’s food program has received a huge lift.
It can thank the Lehigh Valley Educators Credit Union for the shot in the arm.
Gary Fedorcha, vice president of the Lehigh Valley Educators Credit Union, presented the school board on Monday with a $10,000 check to go toward the district’s food program.
Superintendent Matthew J. Link lauded the organization for the help.
“The Lehigh Valley Educator’s Credit Union is always very supportive of our school district, our members, the services that they offer to our employees, but what they did this evening, they really went above and beyond,” Link said. “That’s $10,000 which will go to our school pantry to support students and families that may be struggling with meal security.”
