Pastor Jim Williams will officiate at the 10:30 a.m. service this Sunday at Zion Church Lewistown Valley. Communion will be included in this New Year’s Day service.
Calvary Lewistown
Pastor Saunders will offer his final message as Calvary’s Pastor on Sunday, New Year’s Day at the 10:25 a.m. worship service. Sunday school is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. There is no evening service. Prayer and share is scheduled for, Jan. 4 at 7 p.m.

Diaper Depot deadline
Diaper Depot, the free diaper ministry at Zion Lutheran Church in Tamaqua, is accepting new clients for its Jan. 21 distribution.
You must be a resident of the Tamaqua Area School District and make a request at www.ziontamaqua.com by Jan. 4. Sorry, no requests can be accepted for January after Jan. 4. You will be given an appointment time for the Jan. 21 distribution.
The first time you pick up diapers, you must present a birth certificate for the child or children and some type of proof of residence. Diapers are available for children up to age 4 sizes NB to 6 and pull-ups 2T-3T and 3T-4T.
Diaper Depot is a community pantry of the Greater Philadelphia Diaper Bank.
New Year’s Day Dinner
The Culinary Team at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tamaqua is hosting a free community pork and sauerkraut dinner New Year’s Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (or when the food runs out).
The dinner is eat-in only. (No take-outs.) Donations are welcome.
Zion is located at the corner of Greenwood and Mauch Chunk streets.
American Primitive
