State police at Fern Ridge said a 27-year-old Effort man is charged with theft of a vehicle after an incident at 7:22 p.m. Nov. 21.

Police the vehicle was left running at the Turkey Hill parking lot, at the corner of Gilbert Road and Route 209, and was taken into custody without incident.

Police said he faces multiple charges.
