• State police at the Fern Ridge barracks investigated a crash at 12:36 p.m. Dec. 16 at the intersection of Rt. 115 and Astolat Road in Effort. Police said no one was injured.
The vehicles included at 2021 Toyota Highlander driven by Kirt T. Bush, 37, of Aspinwall, and a 2012 Jeep Cherokee operated by Zachary A. Smith, 27, of Effort.
Police did not provide the details of the incident.
• Antony S. Murano, 29, of Albrightsville, sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 7:57 a.m. Dec. 9 on McKuen Way in Penn Forest Township.
State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said he was transported to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township.
Police said he was driving a 2011 Subaru Impreza westbound when it left the roadway and struck a tree, resulting in disabling damages that required the car to be towed from the scene.
Police said he was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
• A 17-year-old boy from Saylorsburg was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed after a crash at 7:25 a.m. Dec. 7 on Rt. 209 in Chestnuthill Township.
State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said he was driving a 2009 Audi northbound at a speed greater than traffic conditions allowed when it struck the rear of a 2012 Nissan X-Terra driven by Linda D. Keating, 70, of Brodheadsville.
Police said neither driver was hurt in the mishap.
The Audi sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene while the Nissan was removed from the scene by a family member of Keating.
