A resolution commemorating the years of outstanding service before the Carbon County Bar was presented yesterday in Carbon County Court for the late John Deutsch of Lehighton.

Deutsch, who died Oct. 22, was a former district attorney for the county and served several local school districts, boroughs and townships as solicitor throughout his professional career.

Atty. Murray Mackson of Palmerton read the resolution into the record. He, Atty. Arnold Sousa, Jim Thorpe, and Atty. George Dydynsky, Lehighton, were appointed by President John P. Lavelle to draft the document that highlighted Deutsch’s distinguished career.
