Lehigh Valley crashes
State police released information on the following crashes:
• Troopers a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 4:14 p.m. on Nov. 4 along Route 100 in Lowhill Township. Troopers identified the drivers involved as Jacob C. Oswald, 24, of Schnecksville, driving a 2014 Chevrolet Silvervado truck, and Eileen M. Pinkey, 36, of Tamaqua, driving a 2012 Lincoln MKZ. Troopers gave no details of the crash except there were no injuries and Oswald was cited for the crash.
• A two-vehicle crash was reported at 1:27 a.m. at the intersection of Route 309 and Mountain Road, in Lynn Township. Troopers said Paul R. Lowe, 65, of New Ringgold, was northbound on 309 while Jessica A. Shupp, 49, of Slatington, was westbound on Mountain Road. At the intersection Shupp failed to stop for a stop sign. Her vehicle struck Lowe’s vehicle on the right side.
Shupp and Lowe were taken to area hospitals for treatment of minor injuries. Shupp was cited for the crash.
• No one was injured in a two-car crash at 1:58 p.m. Nov. 29 at the intersection of West Main Boulevard and Grouse Drive in East Allen Township.
Drivers were Daniel L. Zeigler Jr., 52, of Bath, and Barbara E. Hunsicker, 62, of Lehighton.
Police did not provide details, but said Ziegler was cited for a stop/yield sign violation.
• Brianna Famularo, 34, of Slatington, escaped injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 3:45 p.m. Dec. 15 on Airport Road in East Allen Township.
State police at the Bethlehem barracks said she was driving a 2019 Jeep Cherokee northbound in snow-covered roadway conditions when she lost control of it while trying to negotiate a curve in the road. The Jeep went off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.
• A 16-year-old Schnecksville boy was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 9:59 p.m. Dec. 11 on Gruber’s Road in Lowhill Township.
Police said he was driving a 2020 Jeep Cherokee eastbound when he lost control due to snowy road conditions. The Jeep veered off the roadway and collided with a high tension fence.
The vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.
The boy was uninjured, police said.
