State police at Frackville
State police at Frackville released details on incidents in Schuylkill County:
• Brian Gordon, 30, of Effort, was charged for possession of a controlled substance after an incident at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at Route 54 and Barnesville Drive in Mahanoy Township. Police said he was stopped in a 2015 Ford and found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
• A 36-year-old Mahanoy City man was charged with terroristic threats and defiant trespass after an incident at 5:41 p.m. Nov. 13 at Domino’s Pizza, West Centre Street, Shenandoah.
Police said he was previously told by Shenandoah police to not enter the restaurant, and did so anyway, creating a disturbance and threatening the manager, after his girlfriend was refused service.
• Kyle Balkam, 33, of Whitehall, is facing a charge of harassment by communications. A 24-year-old woman from Ringtown told police at 2:32 p.m. Nov. 19 he sent harassing text messages to her.
• Joseph Cheehan, 53, of Summit Hill, is facing driving under the influence charges after a vehicle stop at 10:56 p.m. Nov. 5 at Pitt and Franklin streets in Tamaqua.
Police stopped Cheehan, who was driving a 2000 Jeep Cherokee, after observing several traffic violations. Upon making contact with him, police determined he was driving while impaired.
• Police are investigating a criminal trespass incident reported at 11:02 a.m. Nov. 26 at a warehouse along Park Place Road in Mahanoy Township.
Police said someone entered forced entry at a loading bay door and disturbed and rummaged through multiple items. No items were believed to be taken.
• A Tamaqua woman is facing a retail theft charge at Walmart in Rush Township.
Police said Laziyah Wingler, 22, entered the store on Nov. 22 at 10:30 p.m. and removed various groceries valued at $309.02 without paying for them.
• Police reported on Dec. 1 at 1:30 p.m. troopers were dispatched to Valley Street in New Philadelphia, for a report of a noise complaint/disturbance. An investigation determined that Barry Arndt, 63, of Macungie, and a 24-year-old woman from New Philadelphia, were engaged in an argument regarding landlord tenant issues. During the course of the argument Arndt pushed the woman to the ground causing a red mark on her upper left chest.
Troopers said Arndt was issued a citation for harassment - physical contact.
