A Schuylkill County woman is facing a charge of retail theft following an incident on Nov. 23 at 5:43 p.m. at Walmart located along Airport Road in Hazle Township, Luzerne County.

State police at Hazleton said Amanda Schoener, 39, of Pottsville, attempted to steal $98.30 worth of merchandise from the store. She faces a felony 2 count of retail theft because of prior convictions.
