SS. Peter and Paul
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered on the Lord’s Day at Saints Peter and Paul Parish by Father Christopher M. Zelonis, assisted by Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm, Jr., on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 7:45 a.m. and 10 a.m.
Daily Masses are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 8 a.m. We welcome you, or welcome you back, to worship the Lord at our parish.
The Eucharist is exposed for personal prayer every Wednesday from noon to 9 p.m. We are particularly in need of adorers between 6-9 p.m.
Our Christmas Mass schedule is as follows: Dec. 24 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Until Christmas, the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) will be available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursdays from 8 to 9 p.m., and 30 minutes before Masses on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Allentown is accepting appointments and walk-ins at the parish convent building every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Services include: individual, marriage, and family counseling; pregnancy and parenting support (counseling, material assistance such as diapers, wipes, baby items); and supportive services (case management, material assistance, emergency rental assistance, referrals). Our parish Saint Vincent de Paul Society hosts “Vincent’s Closet” by appointment in our former convent building on 242 N. 3rd Street. The society offers clothing and toiletries for those in need, and seeks donations of the same. Call the Rectory for more information.
A Free Community Dinner will be held on Dec. 28 from 5-6:30 p.m. in the parish hall. Baked Fish, Potatoes, Vegetable, and Dessert.
