A Carbon County driver was involved in a crash along the northeast extension of the turnpike in Washington Township, Lehigh County.

State police at Pocono said Helen Wright, 48, of Palmerton, was driving a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder southbound in the left lane when she lost control. The vehicle’s front driver side struck a center concrete barrier.

Wright and her 14-year-old female passenger from Palmerton were not injured.
