Sunday’s snow added to the festive fun in Weatherly’s Eurana Park during the annual Christmas in the Park.
Weatherly’s Events Committee organized an afternoon featuring Santa Claus, the cast from Frozen including festival committee members dressed as Elsa and Anna singing from the film score, food booths, crafts and local organizations.
The event was well attended.
The Weatherly Area Community Library’s Letters to Santa booth was popular. Children wrote letters, often with the help of parents. Library volunteers also gave out books and gifts.
A horse-drawn wagon decorated for Christmas and featuring Belgian draft horses from Leiby’s Carriage Service of Tamaqua was among the featured attractions.
