Bowmanstown Borough Council took the following action on Tuesday:
• Appointed Stephen Dadio as sewage enforcement officer.
• Appointed Matthew Behler to a five-year term on the Water Authority Board. Council said it is still seeking another member for the board.
• Adopted the Blue Ridge Communications TV Franchise Agreement.
• Approved a resolution to move forward with the COVID-19 ARPA PA Small Water and Sewer Grant.
• Adopted an ordinance implementing Act 57 of the 2022 Property Tax Penalty Waiver Provisions.
• Agreed to spend a total of $120 to wipe the hard drive for the old computer tower.
• Increased the Public Works boot allowance from $100 to $200.
• Appointed Kirk Summa & Company LLC, as auditing firm for the 2022 audit.
• Announced the playground spring rider has been delivered.
• Agreed to have the borough office open for a half-day Dec. 23. The office will be closed Dec. 26.
• Agreed to advertise the 2023 council meetings for the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m., with the exception of July 4 and Nov. 7. Instead, those meetings will be held at 7 p.m. July 11 and Nov. 14.
