Northwestern beat Northern Lehigh 34-13 in both teams’ first Colonial League match of the season.
The Tigers’ Dalton Clymer and Nathan Geiger both won by fall, while Cody Mazzocca earned a pin for the Bulldogs in their only win in a contested bout.

Blue Mountain-Lehighton
Blue Mountain finished as strong as it started to run away with a 55-34 Schuylkill League win over Lehighton.
Cole Dietz had the hot hand for the Indians as he dialed long distance for five three-pointers en route to a team-high 15 points. Teammate Joe Roth added eight points.
Lehighton falls to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the league. Blue Mountain moves to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in league play.

North Schuylkill defeated Tamaqua, 51-30, in the Schuylkill League opener for both teams.
The Blue Raiders stayed close with the Spartans early, trailing 12-9 after a quarter. But North Schuylkill began to pull away in the second quarter and never looked back.
Lucas Milot paced the Blue Raiders with eight points, while Mason Ligenza contributed seven points.
Tamaqua falls to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in the league. North Schuylkill moves to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in league play.

Mackenzie Yuhas’s 18-point performance highlighted Jim Thorpe’s commanding 48-20 non-league victory over Schuylkill Haven.
Yuhas scored eight points in the opening quarter as Jim Thorpe shot out to a 16-4 lead and never looked back. Sarah Hartman also had a strong game for the Olympians with 10 points.
Jim Thorpe moves to 2-1 overall, while Schuylkill Haven slips to 0-2 on the season.

The Panthers exploded out of the gates, building a 25-0 lead after one quarter behind 12 points from Sera Robin.
Maddison Maynard poured in a game-high 19 points - 18 in the opening half - to lead Panther Valley. Robin added 15 points.
Panther Valley moves to 2-1 overall, while Notre Dame falls to 0-3.

Lauren Ligenza led the Blue Raiders with 11 points, while Sophia Sitlinger added nine points.

Tamaqua posted a 35-17 win over Panther Valley.
