November 16, 1935 - Nesquehoning receives touchdowns from three different players and its defense keeps Palmerton out of the end zone in posting a 20-0 victory. The Nesquers score on its opening possession as Goral tosses a 24-yard TD pass to Mulligan. In the second quarter, Ocker blocks a punt and “Slim” Evanko recovers it to set up another Nesquehoning tally. “Monk” Molinari rips off a 37-yard run to lead to Jenkins’ 5-yard touchdown. The winners, coached by Tony Mezza, seal the contest in the final frame when Flickinger recovers a fumble at the Palmerton five. Two plays later, Molinari crosses the goal line from two yards out.
