November 15, 2013 - Ethan Kuczynski throws a pair of touchdown passes to help Marian post a 28-3 victory over Mahanoy Area in the Eastern Conference Class 1A championship game. The Bears grab an early lead in the opening quarter but the Colts, coached by Stan Dakosty, reach the end zone three times in the second frame to take control. Kuczynski hits Nico Agosti with a 70-yard scoring pass to put Marian ahead, while an Agosti interception leads to an Anthony Agosti’s 15-yard TD run. Right before the half ends, Kuczynski tosses an 11-yard scoring strike to Lukas Damian. The Colts add an insurance TD in the second half on Nick Sully’s 77-yard run.
