West Penn Township supervisors recently took the following action:

• Agreed to purchase a dump truck with spreader and plow for $120,000 for the township’s road department.

• Accepted Zaprazny’s quotes to salvage impounded vehicles.

• Adopted a resolution to add more than 120 acres to the Agricultural Security Area.

• Agreed to have the West Penn Township police and fire police assist with traffic control for the West Penn Elementary 2022 Holiday Tree Lighting.

• Announced that the West Penn Township Fire Company will hold a breakfast on Sunday.

• Announced that the West Penn Township Fire Company will hold a Cheesesteak Sale on Nov. 20.

• Announced that a budget workshop will be held Nov. 21.
