Bowmanstown Borough Council took the following action on Tuesday:
• Authorized Benesch to field inspect and issue a letter identifying a list of maintenance/repair items by priority code for the borough-owned bridges on Hamilton Street and Ore Street over Fireline Creek.
• Granted Benesch permission to use a drone to fly over the recently completed Lime Street and Craig Street projects at no cost to the borough.
• Agreed to purchase an all-in-one tripod rescue confined space rescue kit, confined space 4-gas monitor calibration kit, and six confined space signs at a cost of $3,500.
• Agreed to spend up to $1,000 for a concrete pad for cold patch storage.
• On a 3-1 vote, agreed to have an app put on public works supervisor Chris Bixler’s phone and computers for the security cameras. Councilman Rob Moyer was opposed.
• Approved a PenTeleData quote for monitoring and maintenance of the borough computers.
• Approved a quote from Russell Muffley to work on one window inside borough hall.
