Slatington Elementary October Students of the Month named

The Slatington Elementary School held its Students of the Month breakfast on Oct. 27, where it honored students for their contributions to the school, and their hard work toward being Responsible, Respectful, Safe, and Proud. Student recipients were invited along with their families to participate in a small breakfast and presentation ceremony hosted by school Principal Todd Breiner and school counselor Suzanne Mengel. The students were issued a certificate, information from their teachers as to why they were nominated for Students of the Month, and then they took pictures near their picture which is posted on the wall for recognition among their peers. The following students were able to attend the Oct. 27 breakfast with their families and are pictured with Principal Todd Breiner: Emma Faust, third grade; Arabella Vendy, fourth grade; Landon Gordon, fourth grade; Charlotte O’Brien, fifth grade; Chord Lindenmoyer, fifth grade; Elaina Ray, sixth grade; and Chase Moyer, sixth grade. Also pictured are Susan Bachman, sixth grade teacher; and Carleen Binder, fourth grade teacher, Unable to attend the breakfast, but honored with their certificate in school (not pictured) was Nicholas David, third grade.
