Carbon County court

Fifteen people charged with driving under the influence and related counts were placed in Carbon County’s Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program by Judge Joseph J. Matika.

If a person successfully completes all conditions of the program, their record will be wiped clean. However, if they fail to complete it, or are revoked from it, then they would face trial on all pending charges. A person does not admit guilt in entering the program.

All were placed for a year.

Skylar Michael Baily, 25, of Tamaqua, was arrested on Dec. 15, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of a controlled substance.

He was assessed $600 for the cost of the program and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Dakota Ryan Flyte, 25, of Wind Gap, was arrested on May 21 by state police at Lehighton for DUI of a controlled substance. He was originally charged with 10 counts.

He was assessed $600 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Daegan Joseph Mokshefski, 25, of Lehighton, was arrested on July 17, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $500 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 30 days.

Harry Walter Diehl, 60, of Lehighton, was arrested on May 27 by Lehighton police for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $550 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Joseph F. Krebs, 33, of Jim Thorpe, was arrested on Feb. 26 by Mahoning Township police for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $600 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Lori Ann Meckes, 47, of Jim Thorpe, was arrested on May 11 by state police at Fern Ridge for DUI of a controlled substance.

She was assessed $600 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Cheyenne Arlene Stoss, 21, of Lehighton, was arrested on July 1, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of alcohol.

She was assessed $500 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 30 days.

Amanda Dorothy Hannah, 24, of Nesquehoning, was arrested on May 6 by Nesquehoning police for DUI of alcohol.

She was assessed $600 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Scott N. Haydt, 28, of Nesquehoning, was arrested on May 22 by state police at Lehighton, for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $600 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Robert W. Sabol, 67, of Nesquehoning, was arrested on April 22 by Nesquehoning police for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $600 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Steven Elwood Smith, 52, of Catasauqua, was arrested on Sept. 5, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of a controlled substance.

He was assessed $650 and ordered to render 25 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Omrao S. Alrajebagha, 20, of Staten Island, New York, was arrested on April 27 by state police at Fern Ridge for DUI of a controlled substance.

He was assessed $600 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 90 days.

Kevin M. Andreuzzi, 43, of Tresckow, was arrested on April 20 by state police at Hazleton for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $550 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Jeremiah Louis Comes, 40, of Rockford, Illinois, was arrested on Feb. 5 by state police at Lehighton for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $650 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Jarrett Mykal Silfies, 19, of Palmerton, was arrested on Feb. 19 by state police at Lehighton for DUI of a controlled substance.

He was assessed $650 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 90 days.

Each defendant must also pay court costs of over $1,000, pay a $50 per month supervision fee while in the program and follow any recommendation of their drug and alcohol evaluation.
