A 67-year-old Schuylkill County man has died after being hit by a car in Bethlehem.

Ronald K. Mayo of Minersville, was pronounced dead at 4:54 a.m. Friday, at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Bethlehem.

The Lehigh County coroner’s office said an autopsy was completed Friday.

The pedestrian crash occurred last Saturday at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the area

of E. 4th Street and Buchanan Street, Bethlehem, Northampton County.

Bethlehem Police have charged Joey Nicolas Rodriguez of Allentown in connection with the incident.

He is charged with accidents involving death or personal injury while

not properly licensed, failure to stop and give information or render aid and driving with a suspended license.

He is in Northampton County Prison in lieu of $150,000 bail.
