State police at Frackville reported on crashes investigated by troopers on Schuylkill County roadways:

• A one-vehicle crash occurred at 4:03 a.m. on Oct. 28 along Hazel Street in Delano Township. Troopers said James C. Wronski Jr, 33, of Mahanoy City, was driving a 2000 Ford Mustang westbound when he lost control on a right curve. The vehicle left the road and crashed into a utility pole with the front passenger side.

Wronski fled the scene before the arrival of officers and called the next day to report the crash. He was not injured, but was cited for the crash. The vehicle was towed.

• A crash involving two parked vehicles was reported at 10:51 a.m. on Oct. 22 along Valley Street (Route 209), in New Philadelphia. Troopers said Jessica A. Brett, 32, of Coaldale, was driving a 2013 Kia Sorento southbound when she said she began to feel ill and dizzy. She lost control of her vehicle going around a curve. The Kia crossed over the center line and struck a 2008 Lexus GS350 and a 2017 Toyota Camry, which were legally parked in a designated parking spots.

Brett was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital East, Pottsville. The Kia and Lexus has disabling damages and the Camry had minor damage.

Brett was cited for the crash.

Assisting troopers at the scene were volunteers from the New Philadelphia and Cumbola fire companies.

• A two-vehicle hit-and-run crash was reported at 4:26 a.m. on Oct. 19 along The Mile Hill (Route 309), in Kline Township. Troopers said Joseph E. Cooper, 38, of Tamaqua, was driving a 2000 Nissan Sentra northbound while another vehicle was being operated southbound. The other vehicle crossed over the center median and into the northbound lanes in front of Cooper. After impact the other driver fled the scene, leaving his 2013 Hyundai Sonata at the scene.

Cooper had a minor injury and was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton Campus. Both vehicles were towed.

• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 6:10 p.m. on Oct. 25 along Route 61 at the entrance ramp to Schuylkill Road, in Blythe Township. Troopers said Bradley C. McKeone, 31, of Pottsville, was driving a 1998 Dodge Ram truck southbound at a high rate of speed and subsequently left the road and struck an embankment along the west shoulder.

McKeone was injured and taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital East, Pottsville. The vehicle was towed.
