State police at Fogelsville release information on Lehigh Valley incidents:
• Troopers conducted a traffic stop at 10:18 p.m. on Friday along Interstate 78 westbound in Allentown. The driver was identified as Jeremy Leinbach, of Coaldale. Troopers said they found a zip bag of methamphetamine and plastic straw with meth residue in plain view in the center console of the vehicle.
Drug charges will be filed.
• A 66-year-old New Tripoli man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a two-vehicle crash at 5:57 p.m. Oct. 15 on Kunkel’s Mill Road in Lynn Township.
Police said the victim is a 39-year-old woman from Kempton.
Police did not provide the details of the crash but said it involved a 2017 Dodge Caravan and a 2017 Ford Expedition.
Police said the New Tripoli man was processed for DUI at the Lehigh County Prison, Allentown.
• Police were summoned at 9:22 a.m. Oct. 13 to investigate the theft of money at the Sheetz gas station, Golden Key Road, Weisenberg Township.
Police said the theft was made by an employee of the store.
• A 54-year-old New Tripoli woman, who resides along Lochland Lane in Lynn Township, reported at 3:14 p.m. Oct. 14 that a bank account was opened in her name at a bank in Michigan.
Police said the victim did not sustain any loss of funds.
• A 65-year-old Kempton man, who lives along Dresher Road in Lynn Township, placed a check into the mail that was stolen, altered and cashed for a larger sum of money.
