State police at Schuylkill Haven
State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks reported on the following incidents:
• A criminal mischief incident was reported to them at 8:37 p.m. Oct. 20.
Police said they were called to 1136 Centre Turnpike, West Brunswick Township.
The resident reported a broken window.
• A Firearms Act violation was reported at 12:57 a.m. Oct. 16 in North Manheim Township is being investigated. Police said it took place at 501 Route 61 southbound.
• Kenneth Rolland, 63, of New Ringgold, has driving under the influence of alcohol charges pending against him after an incident at 10:51 p.m. Sept. 17.
Police said they was on patrol on Tumbling Run Road in North Manheim Township when they came upon a disabled 2016 GMC vehicle off the roadway.
Police said next to the disabled vehicle was an unknown man, later identified as Rolland, who had an apparent head injury. Police said he was highly-intoxicated as he leaned against the vehicle, which was still running at the time.
He was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
• Christopher Bogetti, 51, of New Philadelphia, is being charged with driving under the influence after a traffic stop at 2:40 a.m. Oct. 2 at Rose Avenue and Pike Street in Port Carbon.
Police said he was stopped while driving a 2014 Jeep and was charged following the DUI on view drugs incident.
• State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a theft incident in which an 84-year-old Pottsville woman is the victim.
Police said they were called at 8:39 p.m. Oct. 17 to Woodbridge Road, West Brunswick Township, for a report of missing jewelry.
• Gregory N. Kirkpatrick, 65, of Schuylkill Haven, has charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance pending against him after a crash at 7:41 p.m. Oct. 12 in North Manheim Township.
Police said he was driving a 2011 Jeep Wrangler on Manheim Road, traveling toward West Second Mountain Road, when he improperly passed a vehicle, lost control of the Wrangler while rounding a turn and struck a retaining wall of a private residence. The vehicle continued west and came to a controlled final rest at the entrance of Achey’s Junk Yard. It was towed from the scene.
Police said Kirkpatrick was not injured.
