iPhones worth $4,000 stolen in Penn Forest

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the theft of four iPhones from a residence in Albrightsville.

Police said they were called to Chippewa Trail, Penn Forest Township, where a 35-year-old resident told them United Parcel Service and FedEx packages containing four Apple iPhones were taken.

Police said a black-colored BMW sedan with tinted windows, possibly with New York or New Jersey plates, arrived at the residence and the thief took the packages and fled.

Two of the phones are Apple 14 Promax models valued at $1,299 and $900, respectively, while the other two phones are Apple Pro Green models worth $900 each, police said.
