A 55-year-old Albrightsville man reported someone impersonating a state trooper called him.

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said they were summoned to a residence along Scenic Drive in Indian Mountain Lakes, Chestnuthill Township, after the victim reported the details of the call.

He said the impersonator said he failed to appear at the state police barracks to provide a DNA sample and that a warrant had been issued for his arrest. The victim pressed the caller for additional information. The caller was told his supervisor would speak to him shortly. The victim told police he terminated the call.
