State police at the Fogelsville barracks cited a 52-year-old New Tripoli man for disorderly conduct after they were summoned to an incident at 1:58 a.m. Oct. 11. on Edelweiss Road in Weisenberg Township.
Police said they were summoned to the location after a 72-year-old man from New Tripoli reported a loud explosion.
Upon investigating, police said it was determined the 52-year-old man, identified as a neighbor of the man who reported the explosion, was lighting off fireworks at his residence at about 1:34 a.m.
Police said they were told the neighbor has a habit of lighting off fireworks at unusual times.
