Monroe crashes
State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers:
• A crash was reported at 11:56 a.m. on Oct. 13 along Cottontail Lane, in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Jenine J. Grant, 38, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2017 Honda Accord eastbound when she encountered debris and standing water on the roadway. She attempted to avoid the debris and struck a curb, entered onto the berm where the vehicle rotated 110 degrees striking a tree. The vehicle continued forward on the berm striking a curb and then coming to rest.
Grant said her shoulder hurt but refused medical treatment. The vehicle was towed.
• A two-vehicle crash was reported at 7:17 a.m. on Oct. 6 along Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Anthony Gugliotta Jr., 62, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2006 Pontiac Vibe westbound and attempting to make a left turn and failed to yield the right of way to a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek operated by Eilyne M. Kautzsch, 52, of Kunkletown. After impact both vehicles came to rest in a parking lot off the road.
Gugliotta suffered a possible injury and was transported by West End ambulance to a hospital. Kautzsch was not injured. Both vehicles were towed.
Gugliotta was cited.
• A crash occurred at 2:23 a.m. on Oct. 14 along Route 115. Troopers said Christina J. Adams, 31, of Blakeslee, driving a 2012 GMC Acadia southbound when a deer entered the road in front of her. She swerved to avoid the animal, lost control with her vehicle entering the berm and striking a tree.
Adams was not injured. The vehicle was towed.
• Police said a vehicle struck a utility pole off Mountain Road in Jackson Township, Monroe County, at 6:08 p.m. Oct. 15.
Police said the vehicle was traveling eastbound when it went off the north side of the road and struck the pole, spun northbound and continued to travel in an unknown direction.
