Area drivers involved in Lehigh Valley crashes
State police at Fogelsville released information on the following crashes:
• Chad T. Roman, 52, of Albrightsville, suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 2:12 p.m. Oct. 17 on Longswamp Road in Lower Macungie Township.
Police said he was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township, for evaluation after the incident.
Police said it happened when a 2011 Audi Quattro operated by Scott E. Davis, 60, of Alburtis, was southbound when it crossed the double yellow line and ran into the path of a 2020 Mack Anthem driven by Roman.
Police said Davis, who was injured, was cited for the crash.
• Bianca Allison-Jackson, 32, of Slatington, was cited by state police at the Fogelsville barracks with following too closely after a two-vehicle crash at 3:39 p.m. Oct. 12 on Route 22 in South Whitehall Township.
Police said she was driving a 1994 Honda Accord that failed to stop for a 2012 Lexus driven by Marimar Lozano, 34, of Allentown, who had slowed down due to traffic. Police said the Accord struck the rear of the Lexus, after which time both vehicles came to final rest on the right shoulder of the off-ramp of Route 309.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damages and were towed from the scene.
No one was hurt in the crash, police said.
• Injuries were averted in a two-vehicle crash at 2:16 p.m. Oct. 11 at the intersection of Hamilton Boulevard and North Brookside Road in Lower Macungie Township.
State police at the Fogelsville barracks sand it happened when a 2015 Toyota Corolla operated by Alison O. Hiller, 57, of Macungie, turned off Hamilton Road to proceed north on Brookside Road and struck a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe driven westbound on Hamilton Boulevard by Sharon L. Hertzog, 67, of Slatington.
Police said the Santa Fe sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene while the Corolla was able to be driven from the scene.
Hiller was cited for the crash.
• Glen A. Focht, 57, of Coaldale, escaped injuries in a two-vehicle mishap at 4:14 p.m. Oct. 11 on Interstate 78 in Upper Macungie Township.
Police said Focht was operating a 2011 Subaru Outback.
The second vehicle involved in the incident is unknown, police said, noting charges are pending against the driver of the unknown vehicle.
• Amber J. Devlin, 43, of New Ringgold, was cited for leaving the scene of a crash after an incident at 9:01 p.m. Sept. 29 in the parking lot of the Retriever Brewing Company in Lowhill Township.
Police said she was driving a 2007 Subaru Forester that struck an unattended Mazda MX5 in the lot and then left the scene.
Through the investigation, police said it was determined Devlin was the operator of the Forester.
• Two people sustained suspected minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 5:02 p.m. Oct. 9 on Bear Road in Lowhill Township.
State police at the Fogelsville barracks said Gokhan Cicek, 43, and Teo Yidiz, 43, both of Schnecksville, were hurt.
Police said Cicek was driving a 1983 Land Rover that drove off the roadway, hit and embankment and then a ditch.
