Tamaqua Police report on the following cases:

• A Tamaqua man threw Chinese food at his neighbor’s door after he became upset at her for parking too close to his vehicle, borough police said.

Jorge Angel Martinez Vega, 28, was cited for disorderly conduct following the 1 p.m. Sept. 12 incident on North Greenwood Street.

Police said Vega yelled at the woman, ran after her and threw the takeout at her home. Officers spotted Chinese food on her door and porch.

• A Tamaqua man is in jail after he threatened to kill another man if he told him about his involvement in a recent theft case, borough police said.

As a result, Darren Charbonnier, 35, was charged with making terroristic threats, along with burglary, criminal trespass and theft by unlawful taking.

Police said they were contacted by a borough man on July 16 regarding the theft of his Play Station 4, two controllers, video games, charging docks and other items. He told police the names of two men who might have taken the items, and said he found a stool next to a window to his house.

Later that evening, the man received a call from Charbonnier who said he and another man had the items and were concerned about being caught by police. He returned some of the items to the victim.

Through an investigation, police learned that Charbonnier planned the theft with the other man and threatened to kill him if he told police about his involvement in the burglary.
