October 17, 1964 - Gus Guedes scores two touchdowns and Charlie Shupp converts on both extra-point tries to lift Palmerton to a 14-13 victory over Wilson. After the Warriors score late in the opening half to take a 13-0 lead, Guedes returns the ensuing kickoff 90 yards to get the Blue Bombers on the board. Palmerton, coached by Jim Nonnemaker, takes the second-half kickoff and drives 60 yards on 12 plays to move in front. Guedes finishes the march with a 9-yard TD run and Shupp adds the PAT for the deciding point.
