October 14, 1972 - Jim Kravelk scores three touchdowns to help Panther Valley roll to a 51-16 victory over Nativity. The Panthers pile up 408 yards of offense, including 346 on the ground, to gain the huge win. Kravelk opens the scoring with a 16-yard run on PV’s first play from scrimmage after a botched punt attempt gives the winners excellent field position. Kravelk doubles the margin the next time the Panthers touch the ball, catching a 45-yard TD pass from Gary Evans, and races 78 yards on a kickoff return following Nativity’s first score. PV also receives a pair of TD runs from Jack Sweeney, along with scores from Jan Vinsko, Greg Whitehead and John Sipko.
