No. Lehigh students recognized for perfect scores on exam

Three Northern Lehigh High School students were recognized for their achievements in a state-mandated assessment exam.

Superintendent Matthew J. Link said at Monday’s school board meeting that Act 35 requires all school districts in the state to administer at least once during grades 7-12 a locally developed assessment of U.S. history, government and civics.

Link said it’s a new requirement placed on school districts. It began with the 2020-21 school year.

“I’m very happy to recognize three of our high school students who scored a perfect score on the exam,” Link said. “That is a rare and admirable achievement.”

Students Lily Groover, Caitlin Kirk and Victoria Hanna were then recognized with certificates.

“Congratulations, and thank you for representing the school district so well,” Link said.
