The annual D&L Heritage Half Marathon has a new route this year.

The half marathon, on Sunday, Nov. 6, will be an out-and-back course, starting at Riverview Park in East Penn Township.

The race will go through three of the five counties within the National Heritage Corridor - Carbon, Lehigh and Northampton.

The race starts at 8 a.m.

The half marathon is the biggest fundraiser for the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor.

Registration is open until Oct. 31 and cost is $95 plus a $6.51 sign up fee. Register at race.delawareandlehigh.org.

Participants can pick up their packets the day before, Saturday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the gym at Northern Lehigh High School.
