Fern Ridge crashes

• A hit-and-run crash was reported on Sept. 30 along Route 115 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Liam P. Kelsey, 19, of Effort, was driving a Toyota Corolla southbound behind a 2008 Chevrolet when the driver of the Chevrolet slammed on his brakes causing Kelsey’s vehicle to hit the Chevrolet. The other driver fled the scene.

• A two-vehicle crash was reported on Sept. 25 at the intersection of Route 115 and Meadow Lake Road, in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Maureen K. O’Connor, 59, of Saylorsburg, driving a Dodge Dart, was stopped at a stop sign on Meadow Lake Road while a 17-year-old male from Saylorsburg, driving a Pontiac Grand Prix, was northbound on 115. O’Connor turned right in the northbound lane without proper clearance. The two cars crashed.

O’Connor was cited for the crash.

• A one-vehicle crash was reported on Sept. 23 at the intersection of Merwinsburg Road and Harvest Moon Lane, in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Kevin R. Duswalt, 42, of Brodheadsville, was driving a Nissan Rogue northbound on Merwinsburg Road when he lost control. His vehicle left the road and struck a tree along the berm. He left the scene.

Duswalt was cited for the crash.

• A one-vehicle crash was reported on Sept. 21 at 10:46 p.m. along Gilbert Road in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Molly J. Coneybeer, 31, of Kresgeville, was driving a Honda Accord southbound when her vehicle crossed over the fog line and struck a rock and tree along the berm.

Coneybeer was charged with driving under the influence, troopers said.

• A two-vehicle crash occurred on Sept. 16 along Sugar Hollow Road, in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Samantha J. Moyer, 37, of Blakeslee, driving a Dodge Challenger, and Vladlen V. Fridman, 84, of Blakeslee, driving a Honda CRV, were both southbound. Troopers said Moyer failed to yield to the slowing traffic and rear-ended Fridman’s vehicle.

Moyer was cited for following too closely.
