The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of Oct. 10-14 is as follows:
Monday: Center closed
Tuesday: Squash Soup, Sloppy Joe, Potato Wedges, Jell-O or Salad with Turkey
Wednesday: Sweet and Sour Pork, Lo Mein Noodles, Asian Vegetables, Mandarin Oranges or Turkey BLT Bagel
Thursday: Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Carrots, Fruited Yogurt or Beef and Blue Cheese Salad
Friday: Honey Mustard Chicken Fingers, Vegetable Blend, Spinach Salad, Brownie or Turkey Cobb Wrap
The Panther Valley Senior Center has also announced upcoming events.
Center closed on Oct. 10; Birthday and Bingo on Oct. 11 at 10:45 a.m.; Speaker Liz Bradbury on Learning about the LGBT Community on Oct. 12 at 11 a.m.; Sunshine Meeting on Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. followed by Balloon Tennis; Po-Keeno on Oct. 14 at 11 a.m. New members always welcome.

PV Library
The Panther Valley Public Library is hosting its weekly Preschool Story Hour on Wednesdays from 10-11 a.m. Kids ages 3 to 5 are invited to drop in for this free program.
Participants will enjoy fun stories, crafts, and a light snack.

The Panther Valley Public Library is also collecting the following items to donate to area veterans: new socks, individual or small packs of tissues, and fleece throw blankets.
Community members can drop off their donations at the library, 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, during regular business hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 9 a.m. and noon; and Thursdays between 5 and 7 p.m.
Items will be collected until Oct. 28.
