Bowmanstown Area Residents Connected held its 9th Annual Dog Show in the pavilion of the Bowmanstown Volunteer fire Company on Saturday. Area residents brought their four-legged friends to compete in a variety of categories such as “Best Dog Costume”, “Best Tail Wagging”, and “Most Expressive Eyes.”

The show’s two Diamond Sponsors were St. Luke’s University Health Network and the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor.

Gold sponsors were Wine & More on 1st, The Artsy Olive, Jan’s Barber Shop (in memory of Zsa Zsa), K-9 Bath & Body, Walck’s Four Wheel Drive, and Slobbery Dog Photography. The Silver Sponsor was Hager Furniture Company.

The job of judging the entries went to Tanya Adams, Palmerton Post Office; Loraine Neal, BARC, Palmerton Library, and the Bowmanstown/Parryville Lions Club; and Anna Kristjansen, D&L Trail.
