Charles G. Wade of Lehighton R. 4 was re-elected chairman of the Lehighton Area School District’s Citizens’ Advisory Committee.

A native of Spring City, Wade is a supervisor in research and development for the Atlas Powder Company, Reynolds.

The committee he will oversee will serve as an advisory unit to the local school board. Among its functions are to study possible problems in the district, review curriculums and make recommendations to the district regarding submission of five-year plans to the state.
