William Santiago, 39, of Kunkletown, was committed to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville, after state police said he was charged for attempting to cause a head-on collision with a 2020 Dodge Ram truck.

He is charged with assault on a 29-year-old woman after an incident at 9:40 a.m. Aug. 23 at the intersection of Burger Hollow and Interchange roads in Polk Township.
