State police at Bethlehem

State police at Bethlehem reported on the following incidents.

• On Aug. 17 at 9:28 p.m. troopers responded to the area of Weiss Road and Long Court, Heidelberg Township, Lehigh County, for a report of a hit and run. Ryan Fatzinger, 28, of Macungie, reported his vehicle was struck by a pickup truck. Police said Nicholas Schuler, 26, of New Ringgold, has been charged in connection with the incident.

• On Aug. 10 at 5:38 p.m. troopers responded to the parking lot of the Ironton Elementary School, in North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County. On scene Anthony Arcus, 68, of Slatington, said his vehicle was struck by a another vehicle at the intersection of Levans Road and Mauch Chunk Road. The driver of that car then fled the scene, police said. Darlene Muhr, 60, of Allentown, was charged in connection with the incident, police said.

• On Aug. 22 at 7:49 p.m. troopers were dispatched to 5463 Route 145, in North Whitehall Township. On scene troopers made contact with David Horn, 33, of Laurys Station. Troopers said he was cited for violating a protection from abuse order held by a 37-year-old male from Laurys Station.

• On Aug. 24 at 9:10 p.m. troopers conducted a vehicle stop of a 2019 Kia Soul at East Grant and Jonas streets, in Washington Township, Lehigh County, for speeding. As a result the driver, David McDevitt, 23, of Walnutport, was found to be under the influence and taken into custody for suspicion of DUI, police said.

• On Aug. 30 at 9:35 p.m. troopers responded to 3468 Franklin St., Washington Township. On scene troopers made contact with a 37-year-old female from Slatington, who said her husband, Angelo Vendy, 40, was intoxicated and began becoming aggressive toward her and pushed her. As a result he was taken into custody for harassment - physical contact, and taken to the Lehigh County Booking Center for processing.
